Food for spaceflight must be nutritious, lightweight, and easily stored. As astronauts and cosmonauts spend increasing amounts of time in space, the food must also be appealing. This is a package of Borodin bread. The package contains small squares of bread that are all are held in a small plastic envelope. The small cubes of bread are easily broken off and eaten without shedding crumbs in the spacecraft.
