This beta cloth bag contained the Apollo 11 sea water pump during the historic mission to the moon in July 1969. Stowed in a locker in the aft compartment of Columbia, this item was removed from the spacecraft after its return. It was transferred to the Smithsonian in 1970.
This object is not on display at the National Air and Space Museum. It is either on loan or in storage.
