Physical Description
Colored etching of the arrival of Louis XVIII in Paris, May 3, 1814. Scene of carriages and soldiers on horses crossing the Pont de Neuf with a balloon in the sky. The balloon is flown by Sophie Blanchard, "the official aeronaut of the Restoration." The King is in an open and ornate carriage at the end of the procession.
