Physical Description
Framed, hand-decorated silk fan leaf. Center is decorated with a hand-painted scene of a Montgolfier balloon ascension. Left side is painted with a man aloft in a balloon with paddles. Right side is painted with a figure riding a flying horse. Entire leaf is embellished with hand-sewn silver sequins in a floral motif. Leaf appears to have been cut-down, and reverse is currently inaccessible.
