Physical Description Propeller of the style used on Langley experimental flying model aircraft, 1896 to 1903. Construction is metal frame covered with fabric. Mounted on a 4-inch (10.2 cm) long shaft, free spinning. This one probably used for aerodynamic testing only. Dimensions Rotor/Propeller: 62.2 x 17.1 x 5.1 x 0.6 x 10.2cm (24 1/2 in. x 6 3/4 in. x 2 in. x 1/4 in. x 4 in.)
