This is a model of unknown scale of the GAR-11, one of several different Falcon short range air-to-air missiles developed by Hughes Aircraft for the U.S. Air Force. It had a range of 5 miles, a maximum speed of Mach 2, a nuclear warhead, and utilized semi-active radar homing for guidance. The missile saw limited service in the 1960s. John and Cynthia Heyde donated this model to NASM on an unknown date.
