This is an assembled Astron Omega flying rocket model built by Estes Industries. The model has a pasteboard body, balsa fins, and a plastic parachute. A solid propellant rocket motor propels the model, which also forces the release of a parachute at the end of the vertical flight.

Its payload contains a Cineroc, a camera developed by Estes that could record during flight and was then recoverable upon landing.

Estes Industries made the model and donated it to the museum in 1996.
