The GIV debuted in 1985 as the first civilian aircraft with digital flight management computers. It featured ocean-spanning range and near-speed of sound cruising. The GIV family, the best-selling large-cabin business aircraft in history, is rooted in Gulfstream’s GI turboprop and GII jet.
