This is a vinyl collection pouch for the stainless steel slides used in the Gemini S10 experiment. These slides were placed on the Agena target vehicles in the Gemini VIII and XII missions to record micrometeorite impacts. They were to be collected by an astronaut during an EVA and placed in this pouch, which was then stored in the spacecraft. The slides on the Gemini VIII target vehicle were recovered during Gemini X, while the slides on the Gemini XII target vehicle were never recovered. This pouch is flight-ready hardware and was not flown in space. Its manufacturer is unknown. NASA transferred this artifact to NASM in 1968.
