This spacesuit remains a mystery in the museum's spacesuit collection. The David Clark Company manufactured this spacesuit for NASA in 1968. That was the year after NASA had awarded the Apollo suit contract to ILC Industries. Another interesting feature of the suit is that it was designed to be worn only inside the Apollo spacecraft. There are no life support hook-ups for a life support backpack.

NASA Johnson Space Center transferred this suit to the museum after the end of the Apollo program.
