This is a kit containing an unassembled "Accelerometer" flying rocket model made by Rocket Supply Inc. It has a pasteboard body, balsa nose cone and fins, and a cloth streamer. The model is not powered by a motor, but a metal ejection spring.
G. Harry Stine, a pioneer in the field of flying rocket models, donated this artifact to the museum in 1973.
This object is not on display at the National Air and Space Museum. It is either on loan or in storage.
