These shears were carried Gemini VII astronauts, Frank Borman and Jim Lovell on their record-breaking fourteen-day orbital mission, December 4-18, 1965. They could be used to cut open food packages or for other tasks.
This object is on display in Human Spaceflight at the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly, VA.
