Physical Description Small propeller used for aerodynamic testing only. Not used for flight trials on aircraft or models. Constructed from narrow wooden strips glued together similar to boat planking and then sanded to a smooth airfoil cross section. Rounded tips. Hub reinforced with a 1/16 inch (0.2 cm) thick metal plate mounted with screws, on one side only. Shaft hole reinforced with metal tube. Dimensions Rotor/Propeller: 100 x 23.5 x 4.4 x 0.6 x 14cm (39 3/8 in. x 9 1/4 in. x 1 3/4 in. x 1/4 in. x 5 1/2 in.)
