This cast alloy toy spaceship dates from the 1930s or '40s. Its design evokes the "streamline moderne" style of the day, which was also incorporated into fictional spaceship designs in comic strip space adventures such as Buck Rogers or Flash Gordon.

Collector Michael O'Harro gave this toy to the Museum in 1993.
