Come celebrate the closing of our 2001: A Space Odyssey immersive art installation with a special reception featuring the exhibit’s artists Simon Birch and Gary Gunn. The artists will discuss "The Barmecide Feast" using panoramic imagery of the piece on the dome of the Museum’s Albert Einstein Planetarium. The exhibit will be open exclusively for event guests, with music, light bites, and a cash bar with beer and wine following the planetarium talk. Don’t miss your last chance to see the most surreal exhibit to ever grace the National Air and Space Museum.
The planetarium presentation will take place from 6:30 to 7:30 pm, followed by a reception from 7:30 to 9:00 pm.
Tickets are $15 and must be purchased in advance. Buy your tickets now.
