Orion: NASA’s newest spacecraft, built to further NASA’s quest to send human’s farther than they’ve ever gone before. This new spacecraft will launch into space for the first time on December 5 on an uncrewed test flight that will test Orion systems that are critical to the safety of the crew. This What's New in Aerospace? program will include a video of the the Orion test launch which Paul Ceruzzi, Curator of Space History, will explain and interpret. He will also answer questions about Orion and this important launch.
