Apollo 17 Panorama
Apollo 17 astronauts Eugene Cernan and Harrison Schmitt spent a record 22 hours exploring the lunar surface and collecting rock and soil samples. They used a rover like this one to visit areas many kilometers from their landing site. To the left is the spacesuit worn by Cernan, the last man to leave the Moon.
