Astronaut Eugene Cernan
Cernan is suited up in preparation for tests with the Astronaut Maneuvering Unit (AMU). The tests are conducted in Chamber B, Environmental Test Laboratory, Building 32. The AMU, which consists of a chest pack and a backpack, was to be used for extravehicular activity (EVA) on the Gemini-9 mission.
