The last 12 months have been chock full of solar eclipses! Try making your own eclipse by lining up materials you can find around your home that will represent the Sun, Moon and Earth.

Ages 10 and Up

Watch a video about how astronauts observe the Earth from the International Space Station and how photographs help them see change over time. Then practice your observations skills in your neighborhood and take photos.

The Moon is one of the biggest objects in the night sky, and is bright because it reflects the Sun's light. It's also the subject of inspiration for many songs, poems, paintings and art. Take some time to look closely at it and draw what you see!
