The National Air and Space Museum awards the Michael Collins Trophy, formerly the National Air and Space Museum Trophy, in recognition of extraordinary achievements in aviation and spaceflight.
Two Trophies are awarded yearly: one for Current Achievement and one for Lifetime Achievement. You may submit a nomination for either or both awards (please use separate forms).
The Michael Collins Trophy for Current Achievement is awarded to an individual, group, team, or group or team leader for an achievement made since the beginning of 2024.
The Michael Collins Trophy for Lifetime Achievement is awarded only to a living individual.
Deadline Extended! All nominations are due by May 30, 2025.
