Terrain Model of Santa Maria Crater on Mars

This detailed three-dimensional digital terrain model of Santa Maria Crater shows dunes within the crater, outcrops and rocks layers in its wall, and its rim and ejected material. The colors reflect differences in elevation. The model combines 250 red filter images and stereo images collected from multiple locations, and an image taken by the HiRISE camera on the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter spacecraft orbiting Mars.
