Crew of 1923 transcontinental flight pose beside left side of nose of their Martin MB-2. Crew are (order unknown): Lt. J.F. Whiteley, Lt. H.D. Smith, Sgt. K.T. Wiedekamp, Sgt. A.B. Jewell. Caption on reverse reads: "Army Air Service pilots, crew of the Martin Bomber which made a successful round trip flight from Langley Field, Va., to the Pacific Coast and return."
