    The Fokker T-2 flies over the American countryside on its way to San Diego.  In January 1924, the Air Service transferred the Fokker T-2 to the Smithsonian Institution.  It was fully restored during the years 1962-64, and it received further minor repairs in the years 1973 and 2009.
