F-86F Sabre restoration

The National Air and Space Museum has two F-86 Sabres, one of which is being restored at the Museum’s Mary Baker Engen Restoration Hangar in Chantilly, Virginia. This F-86 will be painted in the markings of the squadron that included three of the most effective pilots to ever fly the F-86 in combat.
