Caroline Moore, who became the youngest person to discover a supernova when she was just 14, gifted this telescope to Sasha and Malia Obama during the White House Astronomy Night on October 7, 2009, to which she was invited to celebrate her achievement. This artifact is in the collection of the Barack Obama Presidential Library.
