Museum photographer, Eric Long, shoots the SR-71 with lighting pointed directly at the aircraft. Because the aircraft was designed to avoid radar and deflect light, this is often the worst way to photograph it. Instead, Long prefers to back light the aircraft to highlight its shapes and contours.
