• Douglas World Cruiser Chicago in Pioneers of Flight

    The Douglas World Cruiser Chicago was one of two airplanes that completed the first round-the-world flight in 1924. Displayed around it are photos and objects from that flight, including a camera, a medical kit, and "Maggie," the pilots' stuffed mascot monkey. The only other surviving World Cruiser is the New Orleans, the other airplane that flew the entire trip.
