• B-26 Marauder Flak Bait in World War II Aviation

    Riddled with more than 1,000 holes from shells and shrapnel, including a cannon shell that pierced the airplane's nose and blew up the instrument panel, Flak Bait earned its name. Still, the tough old bird completed a record 202 bombing missions over Europe. It is one of only a few surviving B-26 Marauders.
