Canard Template and Foam Core

These are some of the components used to build the VariEze aircraft. A builder cuts foam core (top) for the canard by dragging a hot-wire cutter along the template (bottom)—one of two tacked to each end of the foam core. The builder covers the core with fiberglass cloth while brushing on the wet epoxy resin.
