Mobile Quarantine Unit at the Udvar-Hazy Center

It does not fly, and right now it is in the Aviation Hangar, but the Mobile Quarantine Unit will be a very interesting artifact when it is installed in the Space Hangar. The Quarantine Unit was the temporary home of astronauts when they returned from the moon -- NASA wanted to be sure no exotic bacteria or viruses were picked up there. On opening day, the Unit will be in the south end of the Aviation Hangar. Visitors will be able to look through the windows and see that the astronauts had all the comforts, at least of a luxury trailer.
