The B-29 Enola Gay on the floor of the Aviation Hangar. It has undergone a long process of renovation and many hours were devoted to shining its aluminum surface. The staff at the Paul E. Garber Preservation, Restoration, and Storage Facility took great pride in returning it to a "like new" condition. When there is no longer a need to move it around while placing other aircraft, it will be raised a few feet off the ground on jacks.
