• Space Shuttle Simulators at the Udvar-Hazy Center

    Visitors to the National Air and Space Museum's Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center can enjoy a realistic space shuttle launch experience in two new interactive, immersive simulators. The shuttle simulator in the left foreground allows visitors to enact the astronaut role. In the background is a mock-up of Mission Control, where the authentic sights and sounds of take-off give visitors an exciting re-enactment of ground control.
