The Hobey Baker Award and the Spad XIII "Smith IV"

Hobey Baker was not only a legend on the ice but also a fighter pilot in World War I, a war that took his life. The Hobey Baker Award, given annually to the top U.S. college hockey player, was filmed by ESPN in front of the Spad XIII "Smith IV" at the Smithsonian's National Air and Space Museum for the upcoming Hobey Baker Award Ceremony at the Verizon Center in Washington, DC on Friday, April 10, 2009.
