Planetary Geologist Brent Garry on Desert RATS Field Mission
Planetary Geologist Brent Garry of the Museum's Center for Earth and Planetary Studies slides into the suitport in preparation for an EVA. Garry was one of two researchers living in a small rover (LER) for 14 days as part of the NASA Desert RATS project. The project tests new concepts for spacesuits, robots, vehicles and tools for astronauts to use on the Moon and Mars.
