    Museum specialist Carl Bobrow documents an object for the Smithsonian Institution's digitization project. He is using a digital single lens reflex camera connected to a computer, which allows for the operation to be controlled by the computer rather than the camera. This process enables the photographer to see the image on the computer display rather than the camera's small view-screen. It also provides for a better and faster image processing since the image is stored on the computer rather than the camera.
