    This image of Venus was taken with the Public Observatory's 16 inch Boller & Chivens telescope at 10:00 AM on November 11, 2010. Venus has phases, like the moon. Here, Venus is a waxing crescent. Over the next few months, Venus will move farther away from the Earth in its orbit around the Sun, allowing us to see more and more of its daytime side.
