    A Harvard graduate and decorated U.S. Marine Corps combat officer, including two Purple Hearts in the Korean and Vietnam Wars, Nick Arundel began his career as a Washington news correspondent for CBS Television and United Press International covering the Pentagon and White House. The Founder of Arundel Communications, based near Dulles Airport, he originated the concept of 24 hour-a-day All News broadcasting in the United States at Washington radio station WAVA. He is Chairman and Publisher of the 18 Times Community Newspapers, now also published worldwide on the Internet. He was recently inducted into the Hall of Fame of Virginia Communications. He and his wife, Peggy, live on a farm near The Plains, VA. They have five children.
