    Bachelor of Science degree, Aeronautical University, Chicago.
    Worked for Boeing Company, 1942-45, involved with structural tests of the B-17 Flying Fortress and the B-29 Superfortress.
    Worked for McDonnell Aircraft from 1945 until retirement in 1982.
    - Involved with structural tests for the first carrier based jet aircraft, the FH-1 Phantom.
    - As the test manager, worked on the first production capsule escape system test at Wallops Island, Virginia.
    - Worked on system tests (vacuum and thermal) for Mercury and Gemini systems.
    - Was the project laboratory engineer for missile and space system tests.
