Served in Army Air Force in World War II and took pilot training and received my wings and Second Lieutenant commission in February 1944. Went through B-24 pilot training and then served in Italy October 1944 to spring of 1945 with 16 missions over Europe. Returned to the USA for B-29 training. War ended in Japan and I was discharged 18 August 1946.
