Jun 1946-Jul 1949, Germany. Various assignments 366th Fighter Group (P-47), US Army Constabulary (L-4 &L-5), USAF AC&W Unit (B-26), and Berlin Airlift (C-47).

Nov l949-Mar 1950. ALO, 10th Mountain Div, 15 Regt Combat Team; ski trooper training camp Hale, Colorado followed by cold weather equipment test conducted in Northwest Territories and Alaska.

Jul 1950. Taegu, Korea 49th Fighter Group, 8th Fighter Squadron; 142 combat missions (F-80C and F-84E).

Aug. 1951. George AFB, CA, 1st Fighter Group, 94th Fighter Squadron (F-86 A, E, F, D)

1955. Assigned 27th Air Division as fighter officer

1957. Reassigned George AFB, as Ops Officer 327th Fighter-Interceptor Squadron.(F-102)

Jul 1958. 327 th Fighter-Interceptor Squadron deployed from George AFB to Thule AB,Greenland with 14 F-102s.

Jul.1959. Air Defense Command (ADC) Tac-Eval Fighter Interceptor Branch, Colo.Springs, CO (F-102,F106)

May.1963. Military Air Advisory Group, Norway, Director Operations Air Force Section (F-104G, F-86F-,RF-84F, and VC-47). Flew the F-86F with the 336th Fighter Squadron, Royal Norwegian Air Force, Rygge, Norway. The F-86 was a joy to fly, highly maneuverable and an excellent gun platform.
