Capt. Armando Jacob Ford Torres served as an Aircraft Maintenance and Logistics Officer in the U.S. Air Force and was responsible for the training, readiness, professional development, discipline and welfare of 275 personnel that worked on the flight line of the U.S. Airforce Base in Ramstein, Germany from 2008-2012. He also trained as a Pararescue Combat Rescue Officer and served as a liaison supporting CSAR operations. Jake graduated with honors with a Bachelors Degree in Geography and Environmental Science from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2008. He is a Distinguished Graduate (rated top 5% of all ROTC cadets) of Reserve Officer Training Detachment 105.
As an Air Force veteran, he continues to be a dynamic leader in his community including spearheading Bridgestone Americas annual Veterans Day ceremony in Aiken, SC. His family is proud of all of his accomplishments and honored by his continued dedication and service to God, his country and his community.
