I spent 40 years in corporate aviation, starting out as a co-pilot/mechanic on a DC-3 in 1957. I rose up through the ranks to Captain, Chief pilot, and Director of Aviation the last 20 years of my career. I am rated in 14 business airplanes, of which 9 are jets. I retired with 18,000 plus accident-free flying hours.
