    After graduate school, Dave went into business. During that time he soloed a C-150 in Biddford, Maine. He received his private license and instrument rating in Morris, IL. Dave’s a commercial pilot career started when he purchased a pipeline patrol business. After 4000 hours at 200 ft, he moved on to corporate flying with Beckett Aviation at Chicago Midway Airport. There he flew Hawkers, Falcons and King Airs. His airline career began with Midways Airlines in Chicago. He became a Captain on the DC-9 and flew until the airlines demise in 1991. In 1994 he started his career with United airlines flying the 737 and the 320 Airbus. He received his Type Rating in the 777 and 7470400. He retired from United Airlines on February, 1, 2004.
