Honored by:

Born in Venus, Nebraska in 1926, enlisted in the U. S. Navy in 1944 at age 17, and graduated from the Spartan School of Aeronautics in 1948. Started with United Airlines in 1948 as a mechanic and in 1951 became a Flight Engineer and Pilot, retiring in 1989.
