    Born in Buffalo, NY on February 28, 1942. Attended Parks College of St Louis University in 1959-1962 and graduated December 1962.

    In the US Navy from January 1963 to December 1967. Flew in training in the T-34B, T-28, and TS2-A. Carrier qualified with both the T-28B&C and TS2-A. Served with VR-7 (one of the last Navy squadrons in the Military Airlift Command) flying the C-130E with Air Transport Squadron 7 at NAS Moffett Field, CA and making Aircraft Commander.

    With United Airlines from January 1969 to February 2002. Flew as Second Officer in the DC-6, B727, DC-8, and DC-10. Served as First Officer in the DC-8 and classic B747. Became Captain in the B757, B767, and B747-400. Retired in 2002.
