Honored by:

Taught Army cadets to fly on Stearmans for 2 years, 1942 and 1943. Joined Army Air Force and ferried pursuit airplanes from factories. Was sent to Africa to fly C-46 Transports in Africa and India. After WWII joined United Airlines and flew DC-3, DC-4, DC-6, DC-7, Convair 340, Caravelle, B-727, DC-10, and B-747 for 35 years.
Retired from United in 1981 with 31,200 flying hours logged.
