    Mr. Test began his aviation career with his entry into the Aviation Cadet Program of the US Air Force in 1960, where he was trained as a navigator. After several schools, Mr. Test completed one operational tour of duty as a navigator in RC-130B aircraft. He then attended US Air Force pilot training in 1965. Over the next twenty-two years he flew F-102, T-33, F-4, F-16 and C-12 aircraft while holding numerous command and staff positions. In 1988, Mr. Test retired from active duty as a Colonel with over 27 years of flying service. Mr. Test joined Henson Airlines as a commercial pilot in 1988 and flew the DHC-8 aircraft. In 1989, Mr. Test joined United Airlines where he flew B-727, B-737-300/500, B-757, B-767, and B-747-400 aircraft. Mr. Test retired from United Airlines in 2000 as a Captain on the A-320 aircraft.
