    Captain Glenn E. Skinner, Jr., US Navy (Retired) began his naval service as an enlisted man, serving from 1943 to 1945. He served as a commissioned officer from 1949 to 1979. He was designated a naval aviator in 1950, and a helicopter pilot in 1956. He served as commanding officer of Helicopter Combat Support Squadron 2 (HC-2). His service included World War II, Korea and Vietnam.
