Born April 6,1933 in Wabasha, MN and lived on family farm until 1956. Married high school sweetheart Joan Schmidt October 9,1954.
Went to work for United Airlines July 20,1956 as a mechanic.
Started flying as second officer on DC-6 in 1964. Flew Convair 340, DC-6, DC-7, DC-10, 737, 727, and retired April 1993 as captain on Boeing 747. Aviation was good to me and my family. God Bless!
