Honored by:

Capt Leonard Gold was a P-38 photo reconnaissance pilot during World War II. He flew 76 combat missions over Europe and was attached to the 33rd Photo Reconnaissance Squadron in the 363rd Group for the 9th Air Force. He enlisted in the spring of 1942 and was discharged in the spring of 1945.

He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross as well as 13 Air Medals.
